I don't feel comfortable with this inspector. What should I do?
· Shop until you find an Inspector who you feel comfortable talking to. To get the full benefit of an inspection you must be able to communicate with the Inspector.
I don't understand some of the terminology of this report?
· Always ask questions until the answer is expressed in a manner that’s clear to you.
How much does the average inspection cost?
· Price is important, but put it into perspective. Neither high nor low price makes the best deal in an Inspection. The only good deal is a quality inspection.
I have some questions regarding this house.
· Carry a pad and pen to the inspection. Have any concerns written down so that you can discuss them.
I received a disclosure form from the seller. Should I tell the inspector?
· Share the disclosure and any other information about the property with your Inspector. There’s no such thing as too much information.
When is the best time to schedule an inspection?
· Never be the fourth inspection of a day. Inspections require absolute attention to detail and they are physically demanding.
